Fayetteville is an army town, and by that I mean pretty much everything in the city revolves around the 30,000 or so people that live and work at Fort Bragg. Many businesses offer “in-the-military" specials and you will see people in Army uniforms pretty much anywhere you go throughout the city. Does that make it a bad thing? Absolutely not! Fayetteville still has lots to offer to both locals and visitors, even if you aren't in the military.
